So I just got Resident Evil 4 for PC. I played it on PS2 and Gamecube but I figured I'd give it a try with the good old fashioned mouse and keyboard. I always like shooters on PC better.
Unfortunately, Capcom/Ubisoft is being run by a bunch of retards and decided just to put out a shitty console port. I mean really shitty. First, there are almost no options to the game. Limited resolutions and no advanced sound controls. Second, not only did they not improve the graphics for the PC version, they actually made them worse. The original release was chalk full of shitty textures and lighting that a student could beat.
My biggest gripe is, of course, the lack of mouse support on a PC shooter. What fucking tool decided that was a good idea? Anyone buying it without doing a bit of research is going to assume that it will support a mouse. Why wouldn't they? It's a standard feature for PC games.
This game reeks of laziness and was obviously done for as cheap as possible just to cash in on one more market.
Way to fuck up an amazing game.

Typedef Clarification
I feel the need to clarify my recent post about my preference in girls as at least one person is a little confused.
I am not trying to say that geek girls are automatically unattractive to me. On the contrary. Finding out that a girl I'm interested in also has geek qualities is a pretty big turn on.
What I was trying to say is that I had chosen a very specific type as what I was looking for and that type wasn't really what I wanted. I want someone who's goofy and fun to be with and who shares a few interests with me. The geek should just be icing on the cake, not the cake itself.
